What is the best diet plan for weight loss?

There are so many diet plans out there today. How is a person to know which one is best?

Paleo.

Keto.

Weight Watchers.

Whole30.

Atkins.

Mediterranean.

And the list goes on.

How does a person go about choosing the best diet plan for weight loss? While there is no one diet plan that is right for every person, look for a program that is healthy, realistic, and safe for you. Consider a program you can stick with long term.

If weight loss is your goal, you will need to eat fewer calories than you burn.

While some people can eliminate whole categories of food (such as with Keto or Paleo) for most of us that is unrealistic).

Consider making one small change at a time. Once you have that accomplished, move on to another small change.

I lost 60 pounds years ago with Weight Watchers. I kept the weight off for over 5 years, but after the birth of my third child and my tubes being tied, it seems nothing will work. I usually can lose about 10 pounds, but then the weight loss stops.
